Defender commits until 2011
Osasuna defender Nacho Monreal Eraso has signed a new deal with the club keeping him at Reyno de Navarra until 2011.
Monreal's contract was due to expire in June 2008 but he has now committed his foreseeable future to the Primera Division side.
The 21-year-old has yet to feature for Jose Angel Ziganda's side this season, but the youngster has spoken of his delight at putting pen-to-paper.
"I am happy with this new deal because it demonstrates Osasuna regard me as an important player," Monreal explained.
Osasuna also backed the club's policy in utilising young talent at the club.
"We are confident in the young players at this club and we are looking forward to the future," a club statement read.
