Former defender in temporary charge
Kit Symons has been placed in caretaker charge of Crystal Palace following the departure of Peter Taylor.
Taylor was sacked by Palace chairman Simon Jordon on Monday and the club are now looking for a successor
Palace currently sit in 19th place in the Championship and Taylor paid the price for a dismal start of only 10 points from 10 games.
Former Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock is the front-runner to take over at Selhurst Park following Taylor's exit, but Symons - who was first-team coach under Taylor - has taken the reins on a temporary basis.
Taylor, who has enjoyed a productive period as manager of England Under 21s, has wished whoever takes the Palace job on a permanent basis luck.
"Whoever goes there next I wish them the best of luck and hope they can be a success," said Taylor.
