Loan signing looking to help Leeds in promotion bid

Radostin Kishishev is determined to make up for Leeds' relegation woes after rejoining the club on loan.

Kishishev played 10 games for Leeds in the Championship last season when he was on the books at Charlton, but was unable to prevent the side's relegation to League One.

The Bulgaria international returned to The Valley before making the switch to Leicester in the summer but, after a turbulent start to his career at the Walkers Stadium in which Martin Allen was sacked and he made just seven appearances, he re-joined Leeds on a month-long loan deal this week.

And, with Leeds having won 10 of their 12 games so far this term, he believes his second spell with the club can prove much more satisfying.

"Last year was terrible in terms of results for the club," he told the club's official website. "Leeds went down and it was very sad.

"We managed to get some points last season, but in the end it wasn't enough.

"The results are unbelievable at the moment, though, and I hope we can continue. Leeds have to be up there.

"It will be a challenge for me - the club are doing so well and I have to keep the same standards.

"This is different to last year, and I hope my second spell will be successful."

Long-term deal?

While Kishishev is due to return at the end of November, he has hinted he would be happy with a long-term spell at Elland Road after Dennis Wise and Gus Poyet showed their interest in his services.

"Life changes all the time and I've got another spell here and I hope it will be for longer.

"Once I knew that Gus and Dennis wanted me to come, I agreed 100%."
