Shelley Kerr supportive of Women's Super League proposals

Scotland manager Shelley Kerr is supportive of the planned reforms to the Women's Super League but says it is vital clubs support their teams financially.
A consultation will take place with a view to making the top tier of the WSL made up of full-time teams from 2018-19, with the levels below that all being part-time.
Sunderland recently went back to a part-time status, and Notts County's women's team folded in April.
Kerr highlighted the financial issues over the league but is a supporter of the latest plans to reform the sport.
"I think the proposals are great and the FA are showing great ambition; they're obviously very serious about having the best league, not just in Europe but in the world," she said.
"You need the financial backing from the clubs, but from a professional point of view it's fantastic and the vision is there for everyone to see.
"I'm sure the FA have done the due diligence in terms of how they're going to implement this.
"On the whole, I think it's a good idea but we have to make sure that the clubs have the right financial backing."
