Siobhan Chamberlain has joined the England Women's squad as a replacement for Karen Bardsley for their upcoming friendlies.

Manchester United goalkeeper Chamberlain trained with the group at St. George's Park on Wednesday morning in preparation for their matches against Brazil and Australia.

Bardsley has been forced to withdraw from the squad with an ankle injury, however, and will return to Manchester City for further assessment.

Seattle Reign forward Jodie Taylor withdrew from the squad on Monday due to a bone bruise, a problem serious enough to mean she has already been ruled out of England's international against Sweden at Rotherham's New York Stadium in November.

Phil Neville's side play Brazil at Notts County's Meadow Lane on Saturday before taking on Australia at Craven Cottage on Tuesday, October 9.
