Southend and Colchester defenders on the move
Southend defender Zoltan Liptak has joined Stevenage on a month-long loan deal, while Colchester's John White is set to follow.
6ft 4in centre-back Liptak has yet to feature for Steve Tilson's side this season following his £50,000 move from Lombard Papa in the summer.
But Tilson holds the Hungarian in high regard and hopes that he will benefit from a spell in the Blue Square Premier.
"Zoltan is coming along nicely since he arrived here," said the Southend boss.
"When we signed him we said he was a long-term investment and that he would need time to adapt."
White committed to Colchester
Colchester defender John White is set to join Liptak at Stevenage when the necessary paperwork is completed.
Like Liptak, White will join on a month's loan as he goes in search of regular football.
"Colchester is the club I am signed to and where I would like to see my future, but chances have not come my way so far this season," White told the club's official website.
