Mansfield Town have announced that manager Adam Murray has resigned from his position at the club.
A statement on their website said Murray asked to leave his role "in the best interests of both himself and Mansfield Town Football Club" in a meeting with chairman John Radford.
The Stags, who are 18th in Sky Bet League Two, also confirmed that first team coaches Karl Hawley and Richard Cooper have followed Murray in leaving Field Mill.
"I have been with the club for over 14 years and, having discussed it with my management team, we have decided that it is time for a change," Murray said.
"We are immensely proud of what we have achieved, moving both the club forward and achieving its highest league position in over 10 years."
Murray enjoyed three spells with Mansfield as a player and was appointed player-manager in December 2014.
The club's U21s head coach Mike Whitlow and youth team manager John Dempster will take temporary charge of first team affairs as the search for a replacement gets underway.
"I've worked with Adam for a long time and respect him immensely," chairman John Radford added. "The decision by Adam to part ways was made with a very heavy heart.
"Adam will always be in Mansfield Town's hall of fame. He has served the club magnificently as both a player and, for almost two years, a manager, and I sincerely wish him well for the future."
Next Mansfield manager odds
Caretaker boss Mike Whitlow is the early 3/1 favourite with Sky Bet to replace Adam Murray as the manager of Mansfield Town.
Murray vacated his position in charge of the Stags on Monday afternoon and EFL sponsors Sky Bet have priced up the odds of the contenders in the running to take charge at the One Call Stadium.
John Dempster, who shares caretaker control with Whitlow, can be backed at 8/1 to get the top job and former Sheffield United boss Nigel Adkins is available at the same price.
Forest Green Rovers manager Mark Cooper, ex-Bristol City boss Steve Cotterill and former Sheffield Wednesday chief Dave Jones are all available in Sky Bet's odds at 10/1.
