Gareth Southgate is confident that Tuncay Sanli will become a huge success at Middlesbrough.
After taking his time to find his feet on Teesside, Tuncay has struck two goals in two games - including the winner against Arsenal.
Now Southgate feels Tuncay will become a big hero on Teesside.
"All supporters want a hero," he said.
Evidence
"He's now got the evidence that he can score in this division. He's now got the evidence that he can score against the best in this division as well."
Southgate was quick to pay tribute to the work-rate of Tuncay and his strike-partner Jeremie Aliadiere.
"Those old-fashioned attributes of hard work, being prepared to run at teams and close teams down - the pair of them were phenomenal, the work rate they got through," Southgate said.
