Barcelona are expected to use the January transfer window to sign a goalkeeper after Albert Jorquera was ruled out for six months with ruptured ankle ligaments.
Jorquera injured his anterior ligament in his right ankle in a friendly against Bilbao and is expected to be sidelined until June.
The shot-stopper is second choice at the Camp Nou to Victor Valdes but Barca are expected to use the New Year window to bring in cover.
