Feyenoord through, but NEC lose to lower league opposition

Feyenoord booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Dutch Cup with a comfortable 4-0 away win against amateur side Deurne. Chun-Soo Lee set up Jonathan de Guzman for the opening goal after eight minutes before Roy Makaay pounced on a rebound eight minutes later. After an hour, De Guzman found Makaay with a defence splitting pass for the third before Michael Mols headed in a fourth. Elsewhere, Second division side Zwolle upset top-flight NEC Nijmegen 2-0 with goals from Derk Boerrigter and Bram van Polen. NEC finished with 10 men after Jermaine Lens received a second yellow.
