Keeper to spend a month at Gigg Lane

Charlton keeper Darren Randolph has joined League Two side Bury on a month-long loan deal. The Republic of Ireland Under 21 international goes straight into Alan Knill's squad for Saturday's trip to Bradford. While Randolph has failed to figure for the Addicks this season, he does have Premier League experience having made his debut for Alan Pardew's already relegated side against Liverpool on the final day of last season. He also featured in the full squad for Republic of Ireland's Euro 2008 qualifier against San Marino in March 2007. The move to Gigg Lane will represent Randolph's third spell on loan away from the Valley in the past two seasons having previously gained valuable first-team experience at Accrington Stanley and Gillingham.
