And expects Kaka to be fit to face Arsenal

Clarence Seedorf admits it felt like his heart stopped when he saw the extent of his Milan team-mate Ronaldo's knee injury. Seedorf, who is currently injured, was in the stands for Milan's match with Livorno on Wednesday in which Ronaldo ruptured his knee tendon just three minutes after coming on as substitute. Ronaldo has flown to Paris to undergo surgery on the career threatening injury and Dutch midfielder Seedorf is hopeful the Brazilian international, who he also played with at Internazionale, will return. "I was in the stand and we could see the replay on television," Seedorf told Sky Sports News. "I played with him at Inter when he had the same injury in his other leg. "When I saw his reaction and the moment it happened my heart stopped beating.

Sad

"Everyone is really sad. He doesn't deserve it. He has been unlucky with injuries in his career. "He is a beautiful person and one of the best players to play the game in the history of football. "He has to start the recovery and we will see if he has the will and the strength to come back. I hope he will decide to do what is right for him." Meanwhile, Seedorf is confident he will be joined by Alexandre Pato, Kaka and Gennaro Gattuso in returning to full fitness for Milan in time for their UEFA Champions League clash with Arsenal on Wednesday. "Kaka is going to make it," Seedorf added. "I'm struggling with little problems but it seems like everyone will be ready for the Arsenal game."
