India v England, day four - from 3.45am

F1 - Practice 3 (1pm), Qualifying (4pm)

Lewis Hamilton will be looking to get himself in the groove and then qualify in pole position for the Brazilian Grand Prix, a race he has never won, as he aims to keep alive his hopes of pipping Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg to the 2016 drivers' title.

International rugby union - from 2pm

Wasps centre Elliot Daly and the back-in-favour flanker Tom Wood will start for England against South Africa at Twickenham (2pm), while Ireland, who recorded a historical 40-29 triumph over the All Blacks in Chicago, will look to put Canada to the sword in Dublin (7pm).

World Cup Qualifiers - from 5pm

Ireland will be hopeful of preserving their unbeaten start in Group D when they travel to Vienna to battle Austria (5pm) - but a slip-up could see them leapfrogged by Wales, who host table-toppers Serbia (7.15pm). If Sky Bet League One football is more your thing, watch Swindon play Charlton (11.30am).

Grand Slam of Darts - from 1pm

The 2016 Grand Slam of Darts gets underway in Wolverhampton (1pm and 7.30pm) with Michael van Gerwen looking to defend the crown he beat Phil Taylor to claim in 2015. The stars of the PDC and BDO will collide, with three-time Lakeside world champion Martin Adams also in the draw.

Boxing - from 7pm

Heavyweight sensation Luis Ortiz tops the bill in Monte Carlo, with the Cuban taking on Malik Scott. There will also be two world title fights, as Jamie McDonnell defends his WBA bantamweight crown and Stephen Smith challenges for a super-featherweight strap.
