Sky Sports' Ian Holloway predicts the outcomes of the big clashes in the Football League on Boxing Day.

Holloway has recently returned from watching 10 games in 10 days and now he's casting his eye over the festive fixtures.

Wolves take on Reading live on Sky Sports on Boxing Day followed by Nottingham Forest versus Leeds on December 27. Here's how Ollie thinks the matches will pan out...

Brentford v Brighton, Saturday, 1pm

Brighton will bounce back from getting beaten by Middlesbrough. They are still a good side even though they are a bit short with injuries at the moment.

Brentford are still getting used to their new manager and I think Brighton will have too much for them.

OLLIE PREDICTS: 1-3 (Sky Bet odds 22/1)

Also See:

Derby v Fulham, Saturday, 3pm

Derby all day long for me. Fulham have got talent but I don't know where they are going; to have an interim manager is a joke. I don't understand how they can do that. You have to give somebody the job.

Derby are flying and getting more and more confident. They have a fantastic group,  they can change it left, right and centre and Tom Ince is on fire again. I expect them to have a brilliant Christmas period.

OLLIE PREDICTS: 3-0 (Sky Bet odds 9/1)

Hull v Burnley, Saturday, 3pm

Hull, crikey! Losing 2-0 to Rotherham was pretty shocking and I'm not sure what that result is going to do to them.

But these are two very good teams who will be in the mix at the end of the season. Burnley thrashed Charlton 4-0 last time out but I can't separate these two.

OLLIE PREDICTS: 1-1 (Sky Bet odds 5/1)

Ipswich v QPR, Saturday, 3pm

It's still spinning Jimmy's (Floyd Hasselbaink) way and they are getting more and more used to him. I love Mick (McCarthy) to bits but it's very tough to pick a winner from this one.

Junior Hoilett is watched by Oliver Norwood and Chris Gunter

I think it will end in a stalemate and will be tight. Jimmy will get Junior Hoilett going, he has got a lot of talent but needs an arm around him and he should be able to produce some fantastic wing play for them.

OLLIE PREDICTS: 2-2 (Sky Bet odds 16/1)

Rotherham v Bolton, Saturday, 3pm

It was a great win for Rotherham at Hull the other day. They have a fantastic manager and even though I always tip them to lose I'm not going to this week.

Bolton are having an absolute shocker of a season and I feel for Neil Lennon. I have been there myself dealing with administration and it's not easy. It's just not a nice situation, how many people would go to work if they weren't getting paid?

Neil Lennon

I know people will say they all get paid too much, but it's not really like that. When we went into administration at QPR we had people out of work, on three-four year contracts who only got 25 per cent of that.

It's very tough to motivate anybody, even yourself, when you are not getting paid, and trying to get the focus back on winning matches is very difficult.

OLLIE PREDICTS: 2-0 (Sky Bet odds 10/1)

Wolves v Reading, Saturday, 5.15pm, live on Sky Sports 1 HD

It's a bit tough at the minute for Kenny (Jackett). They look a good side but just a bit inexperienced at the back which causes a few issues.

Reading have got Brian McDermott back but I think the league is going to stay tight all the way up and Wolves are going to win this, even though they have been struggling at home.

OLLIE PREDICTS: 1-0 (Sky Bet odds 11/2)

Nottingham Forest v Leeds, Sunday, 4.30pm, live on Sky Sports 1 HD

I think this is going to be a really close game. I have seen them both a lot lately and I like them both. They have decent squads, although Leeds could probably do with a bit of strengthening.

Forest have turned the corner lately and I like what Dougie (Freedman) is doing. There's just one point between them in the table so I'll go for the draw.

OLLIE PREDICTS: 1-1 (Sky Bet odds 9/2)

Bradford v Burton, Saturday, 3pm

I can only see Burton charging on. They are set up so well, have got one of their old managers back and I can't see past them against Bradford.

OLLIE PREDICTS: 0-2 (Sky Bet odds 14/1)

Plymouth v Yeovil, Saturday, 3pm

Plymouth, Plymouth, Plymouth all day long! It's heartbreaking for Yeovil at the moment but Plymouth are on a roll even though they've been a bit up and down lately.

They are still top of the table and there's 30 points between them and Yeovil. I think there will be 33 by the end of the day.

OLLIE PREDICTS: 3-1 (Sky Bet odds 14/1)
