Getafe cruised into the quarter-finals of the Uefa Cup with a 1-0 win over Benfica to progress 3-1 on aggregate. The Spanish side put themselves in control of the tie in the first-leg when they won 2-1 in Lisbon and they finished the job off at home. Juan Albin scored the only goal of the game in the second half to see off managerless Benfica. Albin struck the winner 13 minutes from time to see Getafe safely through the last eight.
