Bradford v Mansfield preview

Lee Bullock is out for the Bantams, while Carl Muggleton is an injury doubt for Mansfield.

Midfielder to undergo a hernia operation

Bradford City manager Stuart McCall will again be without midfielder Lee Bullock for the visit of Mansfield Town on Saturday. Bullock - who arrived from Hartlepool in January - will undergo a hernia operation on Monday that could end his season. He has been playing through the pain barrier for the last month but has decided to go ahead with surgery now. McCall told the Telegraph & Argus: "Sometimes you can get through games and hold out but Bully wasn't doing himself or the team any justice. "He was struggling to get round the pitch at Stockport and that's not like him. Hopefully he'll be back for the last game or two." Winger Omar Daley will be back in the squad after he missed Wednesday's win at Chester with a back strain. TJ Moncur has a slight hamstring complaint but McCall is confident that he will be fit.

Mansfield news

Carl Muggleton is the only fresh injury doubt for Mansfield ahead of the trip. The veteran goalkeeper suffered a groin strain and had to be substituted after just 34 minutes of the Stags 1-0 home defeat to Hereford in midweek. Caretaker-manager Paul Holland, who will take charge of the team for the second time following Billy Dearden's departure, will make a late decision on Muggleton's fitness. If the 39-year-old does not make it, Jason White will start a league game for the first time since 25th August. Keith Briggs should return to contention after missing the Hereford defeat with a hamstring problem. Fellow defender Martin McIntosh is not expected to play again this season. The Scot has been sidelined since the turn of the year with a troublesome calf complaint.
