Blues star a Real target

Bernd Schuster admits Chelsea star Didier Drogba is the type of player Real Madrid should aspire to sign. Real have been linked with several strikers as the Spanish champions weigh up potential recruits for next season. When asked about recent rumours linking Real with bids for Drogba, and Sevilla hot shot Luis Fabiano, Schuster acknowledged the quality of the duo. "They are both excellent," Schuster told AS. "When Madrid looks to sign players, they have to aspire to have the best." Ajax's Klaas Jan Huntelaar has been tipped as a prime target for Real this summer and Schuster was full of praise for the Dutch hit-man.

Klaas cloned

Schuster added: "The boy is similar to both Van Nistelrooy and Van Basten. He is so similar. It is almost like they have cloned him in a laboratory. He has things about him that are from both players. "He moves in the same way, he is tall, he can shoot with both feet and is a good header of the ball. "Besides these kids have a great education and learn from true professionals and that gives you certain guarantees. Here he would not score 30 goals like he does there, but it would only be five less." Schuster also looked ahead to Real's run-in to the domestic season and admitted that none of the eight remaining matches would be easy.
Very tricky
"There are eight games left and it is good to know that the end is now in sight. But we cannot say that because our next few opponents still have everything to play for," he continued. "Some are aiming for Uefa Cup places, others Champions League spots, while the rest are involved in the race to stay up. Mallorca, Racing, Osasuna and Zaragoza, four teams we must play, all have something concrete to aim for. "The way to the title will not be an easy one. Who would have predicted that we would lose to Betis or Deportivo? These eight games will be very tricky. "I am not being cautious. I think it is great that we depend upon ourselves. If we have clear ideas and play like we did against Sevilla, where we improved on several things, then that is the team I want. "Playing like that we will be champions."
