Georgia have confirmed the departure of coach Klaus Toppmoller.
The German has had his contract terminated after a disappointing Euro 2008 qualifying campaign.
Georgian Football Federation chief Nodar Akhalkatsi confirmed they had axed Toppmoller.
"We were really upset with our team's performance in the Euro-2008 qualifying campaign," Akhalkatsi said.
"I believe we need to find somebody else to improve our performances."
In the 2008 European championship qualifying Group B Georgia finished sixth, one place above the bottom-placed Faroe Islands.
