Birmingham have offered a trial to highly-rated FC Brussels midfielder Zola Matumona.
Matumona, a Democratic Republic of Congo international, will link up with the Blues squad for three days of training after catching the eye of Alex McLeish's scouts.
The 26-year-old is excited about the possibility of playing in the Premier League and is determined to make the most of his opportunity.
"I will do everything I can to make a good impression," he told
La Derniere Heure.
"Needless to say, this challenge tempts me greatly."
Matumona is confident that he would be able to succeed in England despite being small in stature.
"English football is very physical, but is changing and players of a different type are able to impose themselves."
