Watford midfielder Damien Francis is set to miss the rest of the season due to a troublesome knee injury.
Francis has been sidelined since January after aggravating the injury during the draw with Charlton.
Hornets boss Aidy Boothroyd admits Francis is struggling to shake off the knee knock and he will not take any chances with his fitness.
"He's still struggling," Boothroyd told the
Watford Observer.
"He's coming back but we don't want to push him again too hard. I'll be surprised if Damien plays a part between now and the end of the season."
