Jubilo Iwata are in talks to sign Czech midfield legend Pavel Nedved.
According to
Sports Nippon, Jubilo chairman Yoshio Mabuchi revealed the J-League club have been speaking to Nedved for over a month now and are close to agreeing terms.
"At the moment, we are talking to Juventus about Nedved," Mabuchi said.
"Since the middle of March we have been negotiating with the player with a view to strengthening our midfield.
"We hope to have everything sorted by May."
The Juventus star, who was also linked to a move to FC Tokyo in February, has yet to decide on his playing future when his contract with the Bianconeri expires in the summer.
