Former West Ham utility man insists all deserve credit for success
Christian Dailly believes the entire Rangers squad should get the credit if they win the Uefa Cup on Wednesday night against Zenit St Petersburg.
Rangers have had to play three league games in a week as they bid for success on four fronts.
The players claimed seven points from a possible nine in those games to leave the side one point behind leaders Celtic with a game in hand, but boss Walter Smith may look to choose fresh players against the Russian side, who have not played since 1st May.
Yet Dailly insists that, whoever plays, everyone at the club deserves recognition if they can secure victory.
"We are a team, we are a squad and we are all together," he said.
"We just want to win that cup, whoever plays. We've all, in some way, contributed to us being there.
"So whether you play or don't play, it's the whole club that wins it and that's the main thing."
Fans
And Dailly feels that playing the game at the City of Manchester Stadium will give his side a major advantage due to the number of fans travelling down.
"They will be massive for us. Can you imagine the numbers that are going to be down there?
"Everybody that I've spoken to in Glasgow is going whether they have a ticket or not.
"It's just going to be an amazing atmosphere and that will definitely have a big impact on us."
