Sol Campbell says Macclesfield survival is up there with his best achievements

Sol Campbell says keeping Macclesfield in the Football League is "up there" with his best achievements in the game.
The two-time Premier League and FA Cup winner with Arsenal took over at Moss Rose in November with the team four points adrift of safety at the foot of Sky Bet League Two.
Despite eight victories and nine draws in his 26 games in charge, the Silkmen needed at least a point to stay up on the final day over Notts County - and they earned a draw at home to Cambridge while County lost at Swindon.
Campbell told Sky Sports: "It's fantastic. What an achievement. There's not many clubs that can start so many points adrift and get out.
"This is well up there because it's my first job and taking a team that were so many points adrift, and building confidence, getting the lads playing football, and they've responded really well.
"It's been a fantastic experience. Obviously I don't want to be in that scenario too many times. (But) the lads have responded really well since I got here. They've been incredible.
"Yes there's been some bumps in the road but we've come out on top and it's great. We got the point we needed. They showed great character. That's what it's all about. These last games these lads have shown they've got bundles of that."
Macclesfield's season has been plagued by uncertainty over the club's future, with players often being paid late and a winding up order from HMRC finally being settled in March.
Campbell said: "You've just got to accept it sometimes and see the other side, and those lads that need that money coming in because of mortgages and whatever. There's a human side to it.
"But we're not the only ones. There's several other clubs in this division in the same boat. But I'm sure that will get resolved."
