Luuk De Jong was PSV Eindhoven's hero as the Eredivisie leaders produced a concerted fightback to deny Utrecht victory.

Sander Van Der Streek had headed the home side into a seventh-minute lead which they doubled courtesy of Gyrano Kerk's second with 38 minutes gone.

However, PSV responded after the break as De Jong dragged them back into it within 12 minutes of the restart before levelling from close range four minutes from time to clinch a 2-2 draw.

Mohamed El Hankouri struck late to hand Groningen a 2-1 victory over Vitesse Arnhem and dent the visitors' hopes of breaking into the top four.

Kaj Sierhuis had fired the home side into a 13th-minute lead, but their advantage was cancelled out before the break by Oussama Darfalou.

However, there was further drama in stoppage time at the end of the game when substitute El Hankouri snatched the points for Groningen.

Lazaros Lamprou claimed a double as Fortuna Sittard deepened Excelsior's woes with a 4-1 romp.
