Highlights of the Sky Bet League Two match between Salford City and Gillingham

Salford’s inability to turn dominance into goals meant they had to settle for a 0-0 draw at home to Gillingham.

Salford dominated throughout but will rue not making the breakthrough.

Ros Longelo was inches from an opener for the home side after 10 minutes after hitting a wonderful curler but, with keeper Glenn Morris beaten, it cannoned back off the bar.

Salford did have the ball in the net midway through the first half courtesy of Dan Oduh, but Ryan Graydon, who had made the pass, was flagged offside.

Graydon himself had an opening shortly before the break, but Morris raced out to smother the danger.

Morris was then happy to see Salford's final effort of the half, an Ade Oluwo header, comfortably clear the bar.

The second half continued in the same vein and the closest Salford came was Luke Garbutt's goalbound free-kick, pushed wide by Morris at full stretch, with Jorge Grant and Fabio Borini both shooting wide late on.

Gillingham's best chance saw Remeao Hutton's effort deflected wide, while Morris again rescued the visitors with a brilliant double save in stoppage time to deny Longelo and Brandon Cooper.
