Midfielder joins Ternent's troops
Huddersfield have won the race to sign former Scunthorpe midfielder Jim Goodwin.
Goodwin has been looking for a new club after being released by Scunthorpe at the end of the season following their relegation from the Championship.
The 26-year-old has inked a three-year deal at the Galpharm Stadium and Terriers boss Stan Ternent was delighted to land the player.
Winner
"Jim is a real winner and a very competitive midfield player who is a proper Championship performer," Ternent told the club's official website.
"There were others in for him but he's seen the club, noted the support and taken on board our ambitions. He knows we want promotion and he's keen to be a part of it."
