Italian number two makes move
Italian goalkeeper Marco Amelia broke off from Euro 2008 duties to seal a move to Palermo.
The 26-year-old has penned a four-year deal with the club after leaving Livorno.
Amelia had been with Livorno for seven-years and made over 150 appearances.
The fee has not been disclosed but it is thought to be in excess of £5million.
Palermo have been busy in the transfer market already this summer bringing in Antonio Nocerino, Andrea Raggi, Davide Lanzafame and Fabio Liverani.
Amauri, Andrea Barzagli, Cristian Zaccardo and Leandro Rinaudo have all departed the club.
