Former Southend shot-stopper joins on free transfer
Crewe Alexandra have secured the signing of goalkeeper Steve Collis on a free transfer.
Collis was released by Southend United at the end of last season and joins Crewe on a two-year contract.
The 27-year-old is expected to become the club's first-choice shot-stopper following Ben Williams' transfer to Carlisle United.
Collis, who made 26 appearances for Southend last term, is Crewe's fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Tranmere's Calvin Zola, Joel Grant from Aldershot and fellow keeper Adam Legzdins from Birmingham.
