Striker set to discuss offers with Mallorca
Mallorca striker Dani Guiza is hoping to reach a decision on his future this week, his agent has told
skysports.com.
The Spaniard, who was part of his country's Euro 2008-winning squad, had appeared to be on the brink of joining Fenerbahce.
A five-year deal was in the pipeline, but the Turkish club have been unable to settle on a financial package with Mallorca.
Guiza is valued at 15million euros (£11.9million) and is thought to be wanted by Barcelona and Italian outfit Roma.
Premier League trio Manchester City, Sunderland and Tottenham have also been linked with a big-money bid for Guiza.
Impasse
The forward's representative Nuria Bermudez has told
skysports.com that talks are planned with Mallorca this week to discuss any offers on the table.
"Now, the subject is at an impasse," Bermudez told
skysports.com.
"I wait to formally receive the offers this week, so that I can study them and to decide with Real Mallorca.
"The decision may not be announced this week because it is necessary to finalise the operation."
