Brazilian outfit Flamengo have announced the signing of Wolfsburg midfielder Marcelinho.
The 33-year-old former Hertha Berlin playmaker has agreed a two-year deal with the Rio-based club.
"Both sides have agreed a deal. There is nothing more to be done. He will be here on Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest," Flamengo vice-president Kleber Leite told the club's
official website.
Wolfsburg have yet to confirm the deal, although it is known that coach Felix Magath is keen to offload Marcelinho following summer the signing of Zvjezdan Misimovic.
