Striker looking to play one more year

Veteran striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink thinks he has one more year of professional football in him. The 36-year-old is currently without a club after leaving Cardiff City, but is training with Norwich in a bid to improve match fitness. Canaries boss Glenn Roeder has gone public with his desire to sign a striker, although former Leeds and Chelsea striker Hasselbaink claims he is just working on his fitness and not a deal at Carrow Road. "I'm just training there at the moment to keep myself fit," he told Sky Sports on his Norwich stay. "I would like to play another year, but at the moment I've not had a pre-season and I've missed out on a lot of football so I'm just keeping myself fit."
