Terriers still awaiting first league win
Mark Wright was in sparkling form for MK Dons as Huddersfield were crushed 3-1 at the Galpharm Stadium.
Midfielder Wright, who scored 15 goals during the Dons' promotion-winning campaign last year, created the opening two goals and was lively throughout.
The visitors went ahead against the run of play after 16 minutes when centre-half Jude Stirling rose highest at the back post to nod in Wright's floating corner.
Wright fired a rasping left-footed drive against the upright shortly after, but seven minutes before half-time he turned provider to set up Peter Leven, who tapped home from close range.
And the Dons sealed the points midway through the second period when striker Sam Baldock slotted home before Terriers winger Gary Roberts grabbed a consolation strike seven minutes from time.
