Hoesen joins from Fortuna Sittard

Dutch starlet Danny Hoesen has revealed that he has completed a move to Fulham. The 17-year-old forward, a youth international for Holland, was recently invited for a trial spell with the Cottagers. He made an impression on manager Roy Hodgson and now claims to have sealed a switch from Fortuna Sittard in his homeland. Hoesen becomes Hodgson's 12th signing of the summer but will go straight into Fulham's youth system. He is thrilled to have joined and hopes to progress through the ranks and enjoy a successful career in the Premier League. "It's all gone quickly," Hoesen told Fortuna Sittard's official website. "But if a team from the Premier League want you, you should not doubt yourself. "Scouts of Fulham have seen me in action with the Dutch Under-17 team in a tournament in Spain. "After the game, against Czech Republic I think, Fulham have contacted my agent. This led to an internship. "The first week I trained at the academy in London, then we departed to Germany for three friendly matches. That was very nice, with four goals and four assists. "I'm glad that everything is completed before the start of the youth competitions in England. "I will start with the Under-18 team, but the trainer has already indicated that there is a possibility that I may soon join the second team."
