Polish midfielder Adrian Mrowiec has joined Hearts from FBK Kaunas.
The 24-year-old was targeted by Hearts boss Csaba Laszlo following the Lithuanian side's UEFA Champions League win over Rangers.
Laszlo has spoken of his delight at signing a player he rates highly, telling the club's
official website: "This is a player that we wanted to sign and I am happy that he is coming to Hearts.
"We needed to strengthen the central midfield defensive position and I think Adrian will help us."
Mrowiec is set to arrive in Scotland over the next 24 hours, having played in Kaunas' Champions League qualifier on Wednesdasy.
