Can the Chairboys rearrange the Spireites?
Saltergate is braced for an intriguing contest as Chesterfield and Wycombe get set to do battle.
The Spireites currently occupy a position just outside the top seven, but their two victories so far have come on the road.
Wycombe have made an even brighter start, going unbeaten in their first three fixtures and conceding just one goal in the process.
Wait on Lester
Chesterfield manager Lee Richardson will make a late decision on the fitness of Jack Lester ahead of the visit from Peter Taylor's men.
Lester, top goalscorer for the Spireites last season, missed the game against his former club Grimsby last weekend after suffering a thigh injury against Bury.
Richardson said: "He has got an outside chance of playing and we will assess him nearer the time.
"If he doesn't make it, I would expect him to be back for the Grimsby match in midweek in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy."
Richardson must decide whether to stick with on-loan goalkeeper Trevor Carson, who made his debut at Grimsby and kept a clean sheet in a 1-0 win for the Spireites, or recall Tommy Lee.
Church debut
Wycombe striker Simon Church will make a belated debut when Peter Taylor's side travel to Saltergate.
Church has signed on an initial month-long loan deal from Championship side Reading having been a product of the Wycombe academy until he was snapped up by the Royals at the age of 14.
He is likely to start on the bench, though, as Taylor sticks with the partnership of Scott McGleish and Chris Zebroski in attack.
Veteran midfielder Gary Holt will face a late fitness check as he has missed the last two wins with a knock, while Lewis Hunt is still out.
Hunt has had to wait for his debut after sustaining a kick to the foot and will be out for another week or so.
