Crewe Alexandra have completed the signing of defender John Brayford from Burton Albion. Brayford joins on a three-year contract after Crewe agreed an undisclosed fee with the non-league club. The 20-year-old, who can play at full-back or in central defence, made 78 appearances for Burton. He also spent time as an associate schoolboy with both Manchester City and Stoke City. Brayford will now be looking to continue his progress at Crewe and establish himself as a regular in the side.
