Striker joins from Zaragoza
Real Betis have confirmed the signing of Sergio Garcia from Real Zaragoza.
The 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from Zaragoza all summer following the club's relegation from the Primera Liga.
A number of sides from across the continent had been linked with Garcia, with big-spending Tottenham understood to be very interested.
However, the forward has decided to stay in Spain and agreed a deal with Betis.
Betis have already signed Mehmet Aurelio, Achille Emana, Fabian Monzon and Nelson this summer and Garcia has now become the latest recruit.
He is set to travel to Seville on Tuesday to undergo a medical and be presented to his new team-mates.
Garcia made his international debut for Spain at Euro 2008 in the final group stage game against Greece.
