Blackpool boss delighted to land winger

Blackpool manager Simon Grayson is 'excited' by the capture of Alan Gow. Gow joined the Championship club from Rangers on the final day of the transfer window and will remain at Bloomfield Road on loan until January. Grayson is delighted to land the winger's signature after he had been linked with a number of other sides throughout the summer before penning a deal at Blackpool on Monday. "I think it's a good signing for us. I think there's been a lot of clubs that have shown a lot of interest over the last year or so," Grayson told the club's official website.

Versatile

"I know he turned down a move to Burnley and Norwich probably a few weeks ago, maybe a couple of months ago and we did face a lot of competition for him, down here and up in Scotland. "He brings some good versatility, he can handle the ball, he's a creative player and he's another player that we've added to the squad which I think will make us better. "I'm looking forward to working with him and looking to see his strengths. And those many strengths will hopefully contribute to us having a successful season while he's here. "I'm excited by the signing and it's another good acquisition to the squad."
