Everton full-back reveals pain of dislocated shoulder

Everton full-back Lars Jacobsen has voiced his disappointment after suffering a dislocated shoulder. The Denmark international only moved to Goodison Park over the summer and he had been looking forward to his first season in the Premier League. However, he picked up an injury in Wednesday's World Cup qualifier against Portugal and scans have now confirmed that he will remain sidelined for at least three months. Jacobsen admits that he knew immediately that he had a serious problem, and is upset that he will not be able to help his new club until December at the earliest. "It's not good, I have just started at a new club and then this happens," Jacobsen told Onside.dk. "It couldn't be much worse. When it happened, I noticed it was a tremendous pain. "I noticed that something was wrong, but of course I didn't know what it was."
