Finnan blow adds to injury woes
Espanyol defender Steve Finnan has been ruled out for six weeks with a thigh injury.
Initial tests suggested that the former Liverpool full-back would be sidelined for just a fortnight.
But a further scan has revealed that Finnan, 32, sustained more serious muscle damage to add to Espanyol's injury problems.
David Garcia and Marc Torrejon are also out of Sunday's clash with Real Madrid, while captain Raul Tamudo, Ivan de la Pena and French defender Gregory Beranger are also doubtful.
