Coach expected to join Redknapp at Spurs

Portsmouth's new-look coaching team has continued to take shape with Joe Jordan leaving his role at Fratton Park. Jordan has been with the club since the summer of 2004 and worked as first team coach under previous manager Harry Redknapp. Redknapp moved on to take charge of Tottenham late last month and new boss Tony Adams has been busy trying to assemble his own team. Martin Keown has ruled himself out of the running to become Adams' assistant and the search will go on for a new right-hand man. But Jordan will no longer have a position at Pompey after the club confirmed his departure on Friday. Jordan, who had a brief spell as caretaker manager in 2005, also has experience with Bristol City, Hearts and Stoke. Sky Sports News understands that Jordan is now likely to link up with Redknapp at White Hart Lane.
