Carlisle have allowed Danny Carlton to rejoin former club Morecambe on loan. The 24-year-old, who left Morecambe to join Carlisle, has agreed a one-month loan deal with The Shrimps. Carlton is a folk hero at Morecambe after scoring the winner in the 2007 Conference play-off final win. Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy was delighted to be reunited with the striker. "I am delighted to have Danny back at Christie Park," said McIlroy. "He knows the lads and will fit into our style of play and will give the supporters a lift too." Carlisle caretaker manager Greg Abbott is happy to loan out Carlton so that he can some regular action under his belt. "I've discussed the move with Danny and I have told him that I want him to go and get some games," said Abbott. "We both agreed that he would be around our first team. I felt in those circumstances it was more important for him to go and get some first-team football at Morecambe."
