Manager steps down with country bottom of Group 9
Aage Hareide has resigned as Norway coach after failing to win a match during 2008.
Norway are currently bottom of Group 9 in their World Cup qualifying campaign with just two points to show from their opening three games.
They drew at home to Iceland in their opening game before taking a point away to Scotland then going down 1-0 away to group leaders Holland.
Hareide, who took charge in January 2004, was unable to guide the Scandinavian side to either the 2006 World Cup or Euro 2008 last summer.
Norway's record throughout 2008 saw them draw four and lose four of their eight matches.
