Milan claim win, Siena beat Reggina

AC Milan moved clear in third place in Serie A after a 1-0 win over Fiorentina at the San Siro. Protests by home fans, before and during the game, opposed to the possible sale of Kaka were a feature of the match. But the Brazilian played the full 90 minutes in a game won early in the first half. The winner came from his fellow countryman Alexandre Pato as he stroked home the ball after just seven minutes. Milan also finished the game with just 10 men as Czech ace Marek Jankulovski saw red in the final minute. The win moves Milan four points clear of fourth-placed Napoli, and to within two of Juventus in second. The only other fixture in Serie A was in Tuscany and saw home side Siena claim a 1-0 win over Reggina - who remain second from bottom. Liechtenstein striker Mario Frick grabbed the only goal of the game just 15 minutes from time.
