Reports in Saturday's newspapers have suggested that the unsettled Swiss international is looking to leave the Premier League strugglers, just months into his two-and-a-half year deal.
Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is quoted in
The Sun as saying: "It would be better if he finds a club where he can enjoy his football again."
The 31-year-old former Real Betis midfielder has struggled to hold down a regular spot with Blackburn, featuring in just six games since he was snapped up as a free agent.
