Winger attracting league interest

Skysports.com understands a plethora of clubs are chasing non-league starlet Sean McConville McConville is currently plying his trade at UniBond First Division North side Skelmersdale United, but his performances have seen scouts flocking to the Skelmersdale & Ormskirk College Stadium. The skilful winger, who can play on either the left or right flank, has scored 15 goals in 30 appearances for Skelmersdale. Accrington Stanley are believed to have had a bid rejected for McConville as they looked to steal a march on their rivals by luring him to the Fraser Eagle Stadium. Bournemouth are also thought to have enquired about McConville and a number of other League One and League Two clubs are now believed to be weighing up a move for the highly-rated 19-year-old. Skelmersdale United have seen other players progress into the Football League in recent years with Plymouth winger Craig Noone plying his trade at the club before moving to Home Park. Skelmersdale would not stand in McConville's way if he was offered the chance to enhance his career in the Football League.
