Norwegian sidelined with knee injury
Roma's John Arne Riise has been ruled out for at least three weeks with a knee injury.
The 28-year-old sustained the knock against Palermo last week and subsequently missed Roma's recent trip to Reggina.
A scan has shown that the versatile Norwegian has pulled a ligament in his left knee, leaving him out of action for up to 25 days.
The news comes as a massive blow for Roma who will probably have to manage without a key player for their UEFA Champions League encounter at Arsenal on 24th February.
Riise should return to action in time for the second leg at Stadio Olimpico in March but a decision upon his fitness will be made nearer the time.
