Chester assistant boss dismissed

Chester assistant manager Steve Bleasdale has been relieved of his duties at the Deva Stadium. The former Peterborough boss was dismissed prior to the Blues' goalless draw with Exeter on Saturday. Club boss Mark Wright has remained vague regarding the reasons behind the decision, but has revealed that it was the result of a discussion between himself and chairman Stephen Vaughan. Wright told the Chester Chronicle: "Steve Bleasdale has left the football club. "I'm not happy with certain things and both the chairman and myself have asked him to stay away."
