Hertha Berlin restored their four-point advantage at the top of the table, while Bayern Munich beat Bochum 3-0.
There were no goals in the first half of
Hertha Berlin's home clash with
Bayer Leverkusen but the capital outfit only had to wait five minutes in the second period before they took the lead.
It was on-loan Liverpool striker Andriy Voronin who made the breakthrough in the 50th minute and Hertha held on to give themselves some breathing space at the Bundesliga summit.

Borussia Monchengladbach picked up three points on their travels as the defeated
Cologne 4-2.
Monchengladbach stormed into a 2-0 lead before half-time thanks to goals from Michael Bradley (25) and Karim Matmour (44).
Miso Brecko pulled one back for Cologne in the 64th minute but Rob Friend added a third for Monchengladbach.
Brecko set up a tense finale with his second of the afternoon (82) but Bradley scored from the penalty spot (87) to seal the win.
The game of the day came at
Hannover where the home side came from behind to hold
Borussia Dortmund to a 4-4 draw.
Borussia Dortmund, without a win in their previous six matches, opened the scoring on 17 minutes courtesy of an Alexander Frei penalty, before Florian Kringe made it 2-0 10 minutes later.
Jiri Stajner (42) and Arnold Bruggink (49) drew Hannover level at 2-2 before Dortmund pulled clear again with further goals from Kringe (62) and Frei (65).
However, there was a final twist as Mike Hanke (80) and then Mikael Forssell (83) scored the seventh and eighth goals of the contest.

Karlsruhe suffered their fourth successive defeat as they lost 1-0 to fellow strugglers
Arminia Bielefeld.
Zlatko Janjic grabbed the decisive goal with just four minutes remaining to leave Karlsruhe five points from safety.
