Midfielder enjoying loan stint at Hillsborough
Wolves midfielder Darren Potter would be keen to stay at Sheffield Wednesday after the two clubs opened talks.
Potter has been on loan at Hillsborough since January and has scored twice in 16 appearances for Brian Laws' side.
The 24-year-old has another season to run on his Molineux contract, but appears surplus to requirements following Wolves' promotion to the Premier League.
Wednesday have started discussions of a permanent deal and Potter is hoping the two clubs can come to an agreement.
"The two clubs are talking to see what can happen," Potter told
The Star. "It's a long way from being resolved.
"It's been great for me coming here. If the opportunity arises for me to come back, it will be more than welcome.
"It's a fantastic club and I've really enjoyed my time here."
